Hi, my name is Zachary Moran and I am currently a first year naturopathic medical student at Southwest College of Natural Medicine. I plan to focus in pain management and sports medicine, with additional concentrations in nutrition and natural supplementation, including botanical medicine.
I have been competing as a professional crossfit athlete for the past 3 years while coaching and personal training clients from around the country. As a Top-100 fitness athlete in the world and a coach for the past 8 years, I have experienced the highest levels of training and coaching. I want to offer my knowledge and expertise to those who want to accomplish their health and fitness goals.
I am also an outdoor enthusiast. I am always looking for an opportunity to explore and discover new places. Most of my free time includes hiking, biking, and camping the more difficult terrains I can find.
I am originally from a small farming town in Connecticut where I was born and raised. I attended Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT where I completed my bachelors degrees in Biology and Exercise Science while competing as a Division I wrestler. After graduation, I continued to compete as a crossfit athlete while managing and coaching at Columbia Crossfit. I became passionate about the health and wellness of my clients which motivated me to pursue my medical degree in naturopathic medicine. After I complete my degree, I look forward to opening a clinic that will treat and train athletes at all levels.
